NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR THE ASBURY ARROWHEAD WATER MAIN LOOPING 2025 PROJECT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall, Asbury Iowa on April 22, 2025, the City Council of the City of Asbury (the “City”) will hold a public hearing on the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost (the “Contract Documents”) for the proposed Asbury Arrowhead Water Main Looping 2025 Project (the “Project”).

The project shall include: Installation of 6-Inch diameter HDPE water main pipe utilizing directional drilling methods and means. Replacement of impacted asphalt and concrete pavement, minimal site grading and restoration efforts following installation of the water main. Work will be located in portions of the Arrowhead Subdivision off of Seippel Road in Asbury, Iowa.

A copy of the proposed Contract Documents is also on file for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk. 

At said hearing any interested person may file written objections or comments and may be heard orally with respect to the subject matter of the hearing.
