The City Council has identified the reconstruction of Autumn Drive in the City's Five Year Capital Plan for reconstruction in the spring of 2024.  

This road reconstruction project consists of full removal and reconstruction of Autumn Drive from Sun Valley Drive to Hales Mill Road.  The reconstructed 31 feet wide Autumn Drive will also include curb and gutter.  Other items included are storm sewer structures, sanitary sewer structures, water main and water service line installations, street lighting, temporary erosion control, driveway restoration and turf restoration.  

A public information meeting was held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 with a project overview.  You may view the presentation here.  

Recording of the meeting

This project was started in late fall of 2023 and will continue into the 2024 construction season.  The project was awarded to Eastern Iowa Excavating.
